Visual Studio 2012

For those who dislike the new Metro Style UI in Visual Studio 2012 because of the bad readability and lack of colors, we have a few tricks available that helps you keep up your good work. For Visual Studio 2012 exists a Theme-Editor, there is a predefined default theme (Blue) available, that looks like the good old VS2012 one.

It’s free and we found it’s good.
Also those developers who find the uppercase menu disappointing, there is a fix available.
Just add the following (dword) key in the Windows-Registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\General\SuppressUppercaseConversion = 1

Cheers and keep on coding!
